Throughout our study of Genesis we have witnessed God call and go before His people.
This week God gave Isaac specific instructions not to go to Egypt. Isaac had to dwell in the land to inherit the promises of God. Isaac stayed until God opened the door for him to go.
What places in your life is God calling you to go? Has HE called you to serve, maybe start a ministry of your own? Has HE called you out of your comfort zone? Is HE calling you to leave everything and travel the world telling others about the love of Jesus Christ!?
Or are you like Isaac in our story and God is telling you to stay put? Wait on the Lord friend. When the time comes to make your move you will know it! And just like Isaac, God will bless you for patiently waiting on His perfect timing and preparation.
The best place to be is where God is!
