Have you ever approached a chapter in the bible and been unsure how to dig into it? I know I have and often I will rush through a chapter without really gleaning important information that leads to revelation. But when intentional, the revelations the Holy Spirit gives are simply beautiful.
The problem is, sometimes we don’t know where to begin, what to ask, or how to help ourselves really dive in. May I suggest using these simple questions as a guide:
WHO?
WHAT?
WHERE?
WHEN?
WHY?
While reading grab your highlighters and journal (or if you’re like me simply write these in your bible) and watch seemingly simple chapters of narrative come to life.
PRACTICE IT! Read Genesis 27 and 28 all the way through. Then go back and investigate. Watch what asking these seemingly simple questions can open up for you!
