I am still in such awe in how our lessons ended up falling <3
We will be covering Lesson 9 April 3rd. This lesson covers the cross of Christ and with it being the Monday before Easter, we have decided to switch things up! You will go right to your small groups to discuss the lesson, then we will all gather back in the big room for a time of worship, teaching, and meditation. So if you like to get comfy during the meditation time dress accordingly!

The following Monday, the 10th, we will cover Lesson 10 on what we like to call fEaster! Again, how beautiful that our study and the resurrection of Jesus aligns with our actual celebration of Easter!! So good!

This meeting will also look a little different as we will have a potluck, live worship, and will be meeting in the church’s foyer.
CLICK HERE to sign up for the potluck to let everyone know what you are bringing!

BOTH of these nights are perfect opportunities to invite a friend to join us! Perhaps they are interested in devoted and just haven’t committed or maybe you know someone who would just enjoy these nights. MAYBE you know someone who needs the gospel of the Kingdom of God! INVITE THEM!

Remember to challenge yourself to read through the entire text FIRST before starting your homework and then again as many times as you can after that throughout the week…maybe instead of a scroll through instagram. ;)

Text “devoted” and “devotedmatthew” to the number 68878 to receive the weekly announcements, praise songs for the upcoming meeting, and links to the previous teachings and answer guides.

This week’s HEAD-HEART-HANDS section is focused around #8 in our workbook take some time to the corresponding read verses, answer the question and reflect on what you wrote.

If you are next up for testimony time in small group, come ready to share how God moved in your heart regarding this section and share the action you took from the “hands” portion below.

HEAD (memory verse):
'We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin.' Romans 6:6-7

HEART (prayer focus):
Pray that the exposure of your sin will lead to freedom! Not to shame or condemnation!
Work through the questions in your workbook!

HANDS (word in action):
Walk in your freedom and in obedience to Christ.
Pray about who you can share your testimony with regarding the area you are working through in regards to this question in your workbook as an opportunity to share the gospel or perhaps even for accountability.

Invite someone to fEaster!

Recorded teachings and answer guides are accessible after the in-person meeting for this week’s lesson.
