Check your email from your Small Group Facilitator for your small group’s prayer focus to implement in your personal prayer time as well as the group prayer time(at the beginning of small group time!!!) in our next meeting.
hands (word in action):
The Lord’s Prayer is a guide to how to pray, but it is also a call to action. Take some time to reflect on the Lord’s Prayer. Here are some questions for self evaluation:
1) Where am I living out my will without considering the will of the Father?
2) Where am I rejecting the will of the Father or failing to understand His will?
3) Where am I failing to trust God in my daily bread (provision)?
4) Where do I need to ask forgiveness and offer forgiveness to others?
5) Where does the Father want to lead me?
Spend time in meditation, prayer, and then whatever the Holy Spirit impresses upon you DO IT! The last two weeks have been full of “calls to action”. Follow Jesus’ example and walk with the Spirit of God in obedience to the teachings of Jesus. (If you need additional help just look at the headings in chapter 5&6. For example: Go the Second Mile, Love Your Enemies, Do Good to Please God, Lay Up Treasures in Heaven….NKJV)
