Day 7

God help us to understand that we are your dwelling place. Where those we are studying encountered your presence in the temple, the Holy Spirit now dwells within us and your presence is with us forever more. Help us to treat our bodies as your temple, a holy and righteous place for the God of all things to dwell. May we remember that our bodies are not our own, but they belong to you, Lord. As we enter into this study, may our temples be pleasing to you, Oh Lord. In your name we pray, Amen.

Day 6

God, we come to you expectantly. Show us what it is you have for each of us individually in the second half of Exodus. We know that you are the beginning of all wisdom and your word says in James 1:5, “if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” So right now, Lord, we ask for your wisdom. As we read these passages in Exodus let us see with your eyes, let us understand with a mind like Christ, and let us live out what we learn earnestly and honestly. Your Word says if we ask for wisdom you will give generously. We stand on that promise knowing that your Word never returns void. Thank you, Jesus. Amen

Day 5

Father, thank you for being Provider. We have witnessed over and over again in Exodus how you provided for your people. We thank you for your greatest provision of all, our Savior Jesus Christ. Father, we thank you that in all things you provide for your children. Matthew 7:11 says: “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” We thank you that you provide for us spiritually and physically. We thank you for the gifts and the many blessings you have given us. In Jesus’s name, Amen

Day 4

Today we ask for you to multiply us. First, through the Gospel–use us to speak Jesus’s name to the lost. We pray that those we know will accept salvation and walk in your ways. Multiply the members of the body, Lord.  Second, multiply us in this ministry. We ask that you bring in more women who will encourage us, spur us on in the Word and in prayer, challenge our traditions and thinking so that we double check all things according to scripture. We ask these things in your name, Amen

Day 3

God, we come to you in thanks. Thank you for who you are. Thank you for what you have done. Thank you for opening our eyes and hearts in the first half of Exodus. God, we thank you that just like the Jews of old, you are still leading, guiding, and directing our steps. We thank you that you never leave us nor forsake us. Thank you for preparing our hearts, minds, and souls for this second half of study. We thank you, Holy Spirit, for convicting us where we are wrong so that we may be reconciled to the Father through our Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Amen

Day 2

Lord as I step into each new day this year, each moment, each experience, as I step into each new encounter with someone made in your image, help me to draw near to you and allow you to move in and through me. Help me to love extravagantly. Give me joy unspeakable. Give me peace that quiets my anxieties. Pour out your patience on me to overflowing. Make me kind as you are kind. Help me to crucify my flesh and embody your goodness. Holy Spirit make me faithful to you, help me cultivate and prioritize intimacy with you. When my will is disoriented and flesh wants its way, help me to be gentle and come back to you, help me to have self control. I want to exalt you with my life.

Happy New Year!

One True God, Maker of Heaven and Earth, Yahweh, I come before you with a heart of thanksgiving for this new beginning. Your mercies are new in the start of this new year, 2024. I submit and surrender to you here and now and give you my heart, mind, soul, body, and my will. I want you alone. Bless me and keep me, O Lord. Make your face shine upon me. Be gracious to me as I seek to follow you. Give me your peace, Jehovah Shalom. Praise be to your name.

If you haven’t registered for Exodus Part 2, go now so you can get your book ordered!

Grace and peace to you all in 2024!

9/11/23

God, today is the day we have prayed over. We ask that you do a mighty work in each of our lives. We do not want to leave this study unchanged. Renew us, Lord. Redeem us for your glory. We submit to this study and all that you have planned through it, Lord. Holy Spirit we pray that you move tonight and every Monday night like a rushing wind. May we encounter you in a tangible way every time we meet, and may every encounter change us more and more to your likeness, Jesus. In your precious name we pray, Amen.

We can’t wait to see you tonight! We have been praying over you and are expecting an abundance of blessing from our good God for each and every woman this semester!

Come a little early to get settled in! We will start at 6:30!

9/10/23

Father, we come to you hearts prepared and armor on. We recognize that the enemy will do everything he can think of to discourage and distract us from this study. But we stand against the schemes of the devil in Jesus’s name. With all authority under Heaven and earth through the power of the Holy Spirit we declare victory. We will know you more. We will love you more. We will share Jesus more. We will glorify you in every way. We submit fully and completely to your sovereignty. We thank you for all you’ve done and will do. In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.

Spend some time meditating on Ephesians 6:10-20

As we begin our study recognize that they enemy HATES that you are making this commitment to the word of God! Revisit this prayer and this scripture passage and be ready to fight back as he attempts to stop your good work!

9/9/23

Father, we pray that you form Holy Spirit sanctioned bonds between us. Make us a community of love. May the things of this world (gossip, comparison, anger, hurt, etc.) be out under our feet. Instead Lord, we stand on the solid foundation of Jesus. And on that foundation we can encourage one another, correct one another, and most of all love one another. Make the bonds between us unbreakable like a three strand cord. We ask this in Jesus’s name, Amen.

9/8/23

God, we pray that you give us eyes to see and ears to hear. May what we read and study be written on our hearts. May what we see around us be seen through the eyes of the Spirit. Help us to see the lost and hurting around us. Help us to share the gospel in love and truth. May your countenance become each of our countenances. May the way you love become the way we love. May the way you forgive become the way we forgive. May what grieves you become what grieves us. Transform us through the renewing of our minds that we may be more like our Savior, Jesus Christ. I’m His name we pray, Amen.

If you haven’t made it a point to start reading through Exodus 1-15 yet, start today!

One of the ways we store God’s Word in our hearts is through repetitious reading!

9/7/23

God, empower us. Give us the strength of your Holy Spirit that each of us may walk boldly in what it is you call us too. Help us to exercise our spiritual gifts for the edification of the body of Christ. Just as you created each of us uniquely, we pray that you use each of us uniquely. We pray against the spirit of comparison. Remind us who we are and that you have created us with a purpose—first to glorify you and second to walk boldly in our individual callings. In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.

Are you exercising your spiritual gifts? Make it a point to ask God what they are if you don’t know and how and where you might use them for His glory!

9/6/23

Father, we ask that this study, this ministry, these women be a source of encouragement. Help me to be authentic and vulnerable  in my interactions with you and with this community. Help me to live in a way that accepts encouragement from those around me, and use me to encourage every person I come in contact with for the glory of your Kingdom. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

9/5/23

Holy Spirit, we ask that you equip us. Make us disciples of Jesus who turn around and make disciples. Help us to grow in our knowledge and understanding of who you are. We want to know you and make you known. Equip us to know your Word so that we may effectively help others know you more. We love you! In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.

9/4/23

Father, we ask for boldness. We want to be a ministry set apart; a group of women who love you above all else. We do not care about looking foolish to the world because to the world the gospel is foolishness. But we know that walking in our salvation, free, redeemed, and love means more than anything. Give us the boldness, Lord Jesus, that can only come from you. In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
