GODLY WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE
This week and in your small group time pray over these specific items regarding the theme of Godly Wisdom and Knowledge. Don’t limit yourself to this, it is just a guide and suggestion.
Ask God for the gifts of Godly wisdom and knowledge.
Praise God for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who teaches us all things and reminds us of all things when we need it most.
Pray that the Holy Spirit illuminate God’s Word with clarity and deep comprehension.
Pray that you fall in love with the Word of God, and that you treasure it every time you encounter, read or hear it.
Pray that like Stephen, with the help of the Spirit, you too will be able to give an accurate account of God’s Word for the purpose of sharing the hope of Jesus and defending the faith amongst false teachers.
EXAMPLE TO SHOW YOU HOW SIMPLE IT CAN BE! DON’T OVER COMPLICATE THE “PRAYER FOCUS” EACH WEEK! <3
FATHER, THANK YOU FOR SENDING JESUS TO TAKE AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD AND FOR MAKING A WAY TO SAVE US. JESUS, THANK YOU FOR WILLINGLY WALKING AWAY FROM YOUR THRONE AND DYING FOR US. HOLY SPIRIT, THANK YOU FOR COMING TO LEAD US AND TEACH US. HOLY SPIRIT WE TRUST THAT YOU WILL PROVIDE FOR US THE WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE OF GOD ALWAYS. GOD, WE ASK THAT WHEN WE ENCOUNTER YOUR WORD THAT YOU OPEN THE EYES OF OUR HEART TO SEE YOU CLEARLY. HELP US TO NOT JUST UNDERSTAND WHAT WE READ BUT THAT IT BE WRITTEN ON OUR HEARTS. HELP US TO SEE WHAT A TREASURE YOUR WORD IS. WE ASK THAT LIKE STEPHEN, WE CAN SHARE THE TRUTH OF THE LIVING WORD TO ANYONE WHO IS WILLING TO LISTEN. GOD LET US TAKE THE KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM THAT YOU PROVIDE US, AND SHARE IT WITH OTHERS. HOLY SPIRIT HELP US TO KNOW TRUTH AND DEFEND TRUTH. MAKE US BOLD LIKE PETER, JOHN, STEPHEN AND THE OTHER APOSTLES. IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

The holidays are quickly approaching! Devoted has decided to help with Operation Christmas Child this year!
We will be challenging each of you to fill as many boxes as God calls you to. Please be praying over what God is calling us to do, for this ministry, and all the sweet babies that will receive a box this year.
