It’s fEaster time!!

Our next meeting will look a little different as we will have a potluck, live worship, and will be meeting in the church’s foyer.

After the deep reflection of Jesus’ death last Monday night, we look forward to the hope of Sunday and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus with you on Monday!

This night is the perfect opportunity to invite a friend to join us! Perhaps they are interested in devoted and just haven’t committed or maybe you know someone who would just enjoy the fellowship and the opportunity to keep the Easter celebration going! MAYBE you know someone who needs the gospel of the Kingdom of God! INVITE THEM!

April 17th will be our last official Matthew Study night where we will reflect on our time in this wonderful book of the Bible and share how God has grown us through our time in his word!

Remember to challenge yourself to read through the entire text FIRST before starting your homework (Lesson 10-Matthew 28) and then again as many times as you can after that throughout the week…maybe instead of a scroll through instagram. ;)

This week’s HEAD-HEART-HANDS section is focused around #12 in our workbook take some time to the corresponding read verses, answer the question and reflect on what you wrote. 

If you are next up for testimony time in small group, come ready to share how God moved in your heart regarding this section and share the action you took from the “hands” portion below.

HEAD (memory verse):
We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4 

HEART (prayer focus):
Last week we prayed that the exposure of your sin will lead to freedom! Not to shame or condemnation! Now take that further and ask the Holy Spirit to show you where you are still not embracing newness of life in your personal lives and in your interactions with others. 

HANDS (word in action):
Invite someone to fEaster! Pick one person. New life enables us to overcome sin AND gives us a new calling. Live out the Great Commission and invite someone who needs to hear the Good News!
